London Marathon Training Plan - Compete
About this plan
This plan is built for London Marathon, start to finish. It is shaped around the full 26.2 mile marathon, running 17 weeks at a solid 7.5 hours a week, so you know exactly what you are signing up for.
Every target is set as a percentage of your own threshold pace and heart rate, so it fits you and not some average athlete. The weeks climb and then ease in three-week blocks, and across them your endurance, your pace and the durability to hold it late on are trained in balance.
Do the work and this plan is built to have you racing at the sharp end when you line up for London Marathon.
