A coach in your corner for all of it

The full thing. One to one, completely bespoke, and a professional coach in your corner the whole way. I build your programme around your race, your life and your body, then I'm with you every step: feedback every week, proper analysis of the sessions that matter, and a hand with everything that decides the day, from pacing and fuelling to race craft, bike fit and the mental side.

How a month looks

The weekly rhythm

  1. Your block landsThree weeks of training built around your life, calibrated to where your form is right now and where it needs to be to reach your dream goal, delivered to your TrainingPeaks account.
  2. Every session earns its placeEvery session in your plan has a purpose. If I can't justify why it's there, it doesn't go in. Message me any time to move something or talk it through, and contact is unlimited, so you are never left guessing between sessions.
  3. Read, analysed, fed back onI read the sessions you complete, analyse them against what was set using your actual data in TrainingPeaks and WKO5, and feed back on them. Feedback is a key part of the coaching journey, so each week you get a full round of feedback on everything you have completed.
  4. We talk, the plan movesBlock by block video catch-ups, WhatsApp for general chat, and the next block reflects real life and your numbers as they move.

Race support

A proper race plan, before every start line

Before every event you get a race plan built for that day: pacing for the climbs and the flats, a fuelling strategy you have rehearsed, heat and weather contingencies, and the race craft that decides close finishes. These are the same detailed race-plan documents our athletes have taken to Ironman Wales, long-course triathlon and the Haute Route, not a paragraph of generic advice.

I do not like surprises, other than birthdays and Christmas. A race should be the controlled execution of the training you have rehearsed, so you start the day knowing every element of it: your kit and equipment, your pacing strategy and your fuelling strategy, all practised and proven. That is what lets you actually enjoy the big day.

We build the strategy together, so on the day you are not hoping it goes well. You know the plan, because it is yours.

The bike leg of IRONMAN Wales, one of the toughest courses my athletes race, straight from the real course file: roughly 178 km and 2,421 m of climbing. The profile shows where the power goes on the climbs and the sustained drags, and the wind panel shows how a fresh westerly turns the same road into a headwind one way and a tailwind the other. Your plan gets the same treatment for your event.

Why places are limited

I keep this group small on purpose. I only ever open 15 Coached by Tom spots, because this level of support, weekly feedback, unlimited contact and a coach reading every session, is not something I can give properly to more than a small cohort. When those 15 are taken, it is full.
